MacRumors reports that the leaked image of the iPhone 3G S Matte Case could possibly have been a real case. Although the iPhone 3G S has been revealed and appears to have an identical case as the iPhone 3G, the report states that the leaked image of the Matte Case was marked with a new model number and FFC ID which represents the new iPhone 3G S.
Apple may have changed plans at the very last minute but the Matte Case is most likely produced by Apple.
