iPhone in Apple's Back to School Promotion?

A few reports have been around the internet saying that Apple may be starting their Back to School promotion as early as this Tuesday. Apple's previous promotions were during summer and only offered students cheaper or free iPods when purchasing a Mac.

Rumors have been going around that Apple will be once again offering a free 8GB iPod Nano or 8GB iPod Touch to customers purchasing a Mac. This year however, rumor has it that Apple will be offering a 8GB iPhone in addition to the iPod Nano and iPod Touch.
